Janice graduated with a degree in Community Development in 1995 and has since added to her academic qualifications by obtaining certificates from the Northern College of Education, National Examination Board for Supervision and Management, The Academy of Aromatherapy and Massage, the National Open College Network, NADA, Yellow Mountain Institute of Acupuncture, Medical Qi Gong, and Integrative Medicine, as well as the Forth Valley College and the Tir Na nOg Holistic Centre. These qualifications have helped expand her knowledge on how substances affect families and has allowed her to develop a unique style to provide support to the complex and intricate emotional problems that occur from substance abuse.
In addition to the above staff, the organisation employs a range of session staff to deliver key aspects of the service. This includes the provision of complementary therapies and counselling services. The organisation is also supported by a team of volunteers who operate the telephone helpline and other services.
